Dr Nick Lynch
Nick has worked in life science data and informatics for over three decades. Prior to leading teams in R&D informatics at AstraZeneca, he worked in biotech and also in computational modelling companies after his PhD.
Nick has been involved in various cross industry / pre-competitive activities and co-founded the Pistoia Alliance in 2009.
He also founded Curlew Research 12 years ago, supporting biopharma with their FAIR data, ML/AI and informatics challenges, plus knowledge graphs.
Nick has led the data team for ASAP Discovery Consortium (AI-driven Structure-enabled Antiviral Platform) working on pandemic preparedness using Open Science.
Throughout his projects, the business change has been a key element – as important as the technology, data and process.
