
Dr Nitza Thomasson
Dr Nitza Thomasson is Executive Director, R&D Neurology at Servier, where she leads the company’s research and development strategy for rare neurological diseases. She is responsible for advancing Servier’s neurology pipeline and supporting the development of new treatments for patients with significant unmet need.
Dr Thomasson has extensive experience across pharma, biotech and entrepreneurship, with an international background in neuroscience and R&D leadership. She holds a master’s degree from École Polytechnique and École normale supérieure, alongside a PhD in neuroscience from Sorbonne University. She also completed postdoctoral research at Northwestern University and Hôpital Sainte-Anne.
Throughout her career, Dr Thomasson has co-founded biotech companies including BrainEver and GenSight Biologics, while also holding leadership positions at Sanofi, Fovea and Tissium. She also founded NTZConsulting, supporting companies with pharmaceutical development strategies for more than seven years.
