A selective FACS-enrichment was performed via the enrichment mode of Namocell Single Cell Dispenser to enrich for high titer CHO cells.
Cell line generation for monoclonal biotherapeutic workflows use FACS instruments to screen clones from transfected pools. While able to achieve cell isolation, the technology relies on high pressure (>20 psi) sorting, often resulting in low cell viability and high dead volume. In this application note, a Namocell single cell dispenser isolated high titer CHO cells using less than 2 psi gentle sorting pressure to preserve cell viability.
